LIMA — A Michigan woman reportedly underwent surgery for a broken right femur Thursday morning after her vehicle rear-ended a semi-tanker truck on Interstate 75. The accident, which occurred around 8 a.m., shut down the southbound lanes of the interstate for a brief time. According to a spokesman for the Ohio State Highway Patrol the semi, driven by Billy Crawley, 67, of Flintstone, Georgia, had stopped for road construction on I-75 just south of Beaverdam when the Jeep, driven by Enjoli Monier, 24, of Oak Park, Michigan, failed to stop and her 2021 Jeep struck the rear of the tanker.
